Excellent protection: welding gloves

We got a new wood stove and when I was removing the ash my hands got too warm. I couldn't stand the hot ash bucket unprotected. These gloves work great, they should last a long, long time. I am very happy with this purchase.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Quality

Difficult Safety

I use them to load wood into the kiln, remove wood that has fallen into the kiln, and sometimes to rework the metal trim around the refractory brick when it is removed and the kiln is switched on. The internal temperature is about 450° and my arms or hands don't feel warm. These are serious gloves.

Globe of excellent quality!

My husband loves it! They are of very good quality. Thick and very soft inside. That's the first thing he noticed - the softness of the material inside the glove. I bought him the largest size as he has big hands and they fit him perfectly. He used the best work and had no complaints. Offers excellent protection. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Clarity

They are NOT fireproof.

I had a pair of fireman's gloves from my friend. Took 20 years. Never felt anything. Actually lost, the only reason I need a pair. I can't keep a log away from my fireplace for more than 5 seconds before I need to remove it. They may not burn, but they get hot, hot, hot, and fast. Old couple, I could take a minute for a minute. It wasn't too much, but you get what I mean.

great quality at a good price making it a great gift

These gloves were a birthday present for my adult grandson because he was asking for this specific type of welding gloves to replace his worn out pair. He works as a welder and he told me how good these gloves are for his job. They're long enough to protect him from welding sparks and flexible enough to be easy to use while still getting his job done safely. His favorite color is red, so I bought red and black gloves.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Great price

Somewhat good at Safety and Protection

These gloves look and feel great. I could see them work well for welders doing small jobs. I used these over the weekend and couldn't hold a hot cast iron skillet for more than a few seconds before feeling the heat. Perhaps they are not designed for this type of activity. Maybe I misunderstood the description. They were "ok" to move hot coals, but it didn't last long. My fingers/hands were not damaged but I will use them more carefully in the future.

Pros
  • Tools and Housewares
Cons

Decent gloves for the price

I actually use these gloves as glorified kitchen gloves. They're great for roasting turkey, cooking over a campfire, or handling hot cast iron. However, they are sold as welding gloves and welding is certainly a common activity among my colleagues. I feel the heat of the cast-iron skillet soon enough that I'm in no hurry to call them welding gloves. A few days ago I spoke to a welder who uses these gloves and we both agreed that they are a step down from what a professional welder would use. On

big hands! the best hand and arm guard

I tried the WZQH brand (Item B07RX7TNBY) because they looked like the ones I bought 3 years ago but they weren't big enough for my XXL Hands. They are not spacious but big enough. They also look lighter. The main difference seems to be the thin sheet of aluminum, so they MIGHT be better for holding heavy hot objects, and others MIGHT be better for being around (but not holding) really hot objects. Conduction vs Radiation? Unless you have very strong hands, you probably won't like them. UPDATE…

Pros
  • hand and arm guard
Cons
  • slightly torn
