Not Herm Sprenger Pins

These are not genuine Herm Sprenger Pins. They are very thin and of poor quality. They don't even need to be squeezed to put them together. The teeth aren't round either.

Pros
  • Great Overall Performance
Cons
  • Some Difficulties

Great dog links

These are definitely Herm Springer links. In appearance they are exactly the same as my feather collar. They are smooth, without roughness and sharp ends, easily attach to the collar.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Mostly good, but...

Sturdy and as promised

I had to return my collar and get the right size. I didn't return the collar because I would have to pay for return shipping, so I just ordered the links. $10 for 3 links, it would be cheaper for me to order the right size ;)

Didn't cook for me

I bought the original Sprenger collar a few weeks before ordering. I added them to my collar and they were of much lower quality than the collar I already had. They bend very easily and don't fit properly despite being the right size. Force the collar to come off twice in public.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use

  • Little things

Be careful with extra links

I bought a collar and three extra links at the same time. When they finally arrived, the size of the extra links was slightly different than the size of the links on the collar, and the metal was much softer and easier to bend. two of the 3 links have fallen out and are missing. Unfortunately I have to buy 3 more links in order for the collar to fit my dog but when I get them I have to bend them to keep them from falling apart again. I thought I had the black stainless steel years ago and it…

Accidental or not, please tell me

I swear there is something wrong with the links I received. It does NOT flow with my collar. It FLEXS, won't fall off with other links when handled. It's rounded at the ends instead of sharp, has a softer feel compared to my real collar links, the black color and luster are exactly the same, and all three together weigh the same - 12 grams compared to my three OG HS links. 3/9/2020 —————— I emailed contact@hermsprengerusa.com a few days ago and they emailed me back. The DropItGroup seller buys…

A must for a growing puppy

I wear prong collars on all my puppies from 4 months old. We work off-leash indoors until they all get their shots, then we head outside where there are nothing but distractions. Lizards, bugs, ducks, gray herons, dogs, neighbors, homeowners, falling leaves, you know, distractions. I have been properly trained in the use of a spiked collar and do not recommend it to anyone without experience or proper training. I found a black collar. so we had to get black links. Everything has to fit. I'm a…

great for Pawmark collar

I bought a Pawmark collar attachment with Herm Sprenger tines - and it's great! Since the Pawmark collar and these links are made by Herm Sprenger, they fit perfectly; Easy to install and no problems so far. I had a store bought spiked collar a while ago and have to admit that HS collars are a lot gentler on the dog in terms of 'correction' and may not be as effective! But my Great Danes have softened considerably - probably due to using other brands of spiked collars - and they're nowhere near

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Not all will fit
