Fits and looks like the original BUT

This block did not have nuts for the wire connectors, had to use the old rusty ones. It took a few attempts before it started. I'll add more when I get a chance to ride the bike and try it out.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Slightly crumpled

Works perfectly with electric fuel pumps

Works! It turned out that my old fuel pump was working and the problem was actually due to a faulty fuel sensor assembly not providing power to the original pump. But this new pump was already installed when I found out, so it will stay installed. This was on a 1987 BMW K75s for the record

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not fashionable

52mm instead of 42mm - didn't fit my K75

The smaller (42mm) bracket didn't fit my 1995 BMW K75C. This block is 52mm in diameter. Also, it didn't have a clip on the bottom to attach the pre-filter sock. Can't tell how it works but was disappointed that it didn't fit after it was marked as Amazon's. Apparently 2 BMW sizes were offered for the bike.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Fit and function are fine. I believe the pump is reliable (now)

Fits and works well. I trust that the pump is reliable (for now). On the 1985 BMW K100 RT, the pump is so LOUD you can hear it over the rumble and hum of that vintage bike. Good pump but don't believe the 'Quiet' advert - this is my second pump as I thought the first one would run poorly due to the noise level. Both are loud and whiny.

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Not everything fits
