HFS Indicator 0005 Enhanced Range Gauge Review

I took it out of the box, installed a 4" stylus, checked my mic on my calibration block, found it had a maximum travel of 4.0270, reset the caliper to 4.0000 . Bores 4,001, round without cone, bore free of test marks. Very happy with the purchase, ran the engine again as I type this. $40 well spent. The first thing you will notice when you receive this is that the sensor is different from the photo. The one supplied does not have the essential black protection around it as shown in the picture. The included sensor is about what you would expect for the money. The 2 moving black pointers just snap onto the rim and are practically useless if you want to use them when measuring.
