Garbage Huge Fatal Error!

The tube is the thinnest cheap plastic I've ever seen. The connector attached to the pump is not twisted, snapped, snapped, or attached in any way. You should fit it about 1/16 inch into the smooth hard plastic tube and then try to fit the silicone sleeve over it. Then hope it holds up as you pump fluid through! That's complete crap for "fuel pump".

Get Reliable Backup

Looks and feels cheap, I wouldn't count on it. The length of the intake manifold is only sufficient for short fuel canisters. If you have military style canisters, you can only pump a few gallons out of them. The transfer tube is short, you must hold the can next to the filler neck. The ones I haven't used I will use for pumping light water.

  • Absolutely Amazing!

Stronger than expected

I was filling a jug with water from a 55 gallon plastic keg when the drain hose fell off and the pump went to the bottom of the keg. I've been trying to fish it out for 10 minutes to no avail. So I used a siphon hose and filled ten 5 gallon buckets from a neighbor. The pump ran for over an hour before I pulled it out of the 55 gallon drum. I pumped 10 gallons of water from buckets to fill several jugs and the pump never missed a beat. believe it or not

Requires Attention to Detail

I have found a few issues that need to be addressed before I can recommend them. Apparently the quality control team was not present during construction.1. The supplied rubber seal does not match the diameter of the pump.2. The cover on top of the battery is not installed properly, when you put the batteries in and put the cover on, the pump starts and stays on even when the power switch is off. I had to fake to fix the problem.3. If you have a deep 5 gallon bottle, it won't reach the bottom of

Rating with experience on these

This is not what's on TV. It is designed that way but requires two batteries instead of three AA batteries. The inlet is much smaller than shown on the TV and I'm afraid the suction power will be much less in terms of transmission time. I was afraid the hose might pop out while using it. It comes with a rubber band that slips over a plastic tube and then the rubber band comes out so I found there were no instructions. will be updated later after use. I don't think it will work like my other…

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
