Brackets arrived as expected. Simple instructions and easy installation. This is a good solution for installing a Hi-Lift jack if you don't want it to be mounted on the hood of your Jeep. One feature I didn't like in the description is that the screws that hold the jack in place have a hole. So you can add a padlock to make sure Jack doesn't escape. The holes are not large enough for a standard padlock shackle, but a small padlock should be sufficient to deter theft.

This product fits my 99 Jeep Cherokee easily. I drilled the 8 holes required for the installation in the front bumper and put my hand behind the bumper with an open end wrench to unscrew the nuts on the ends of the bolts and had a helper run the ratchet from the outside of the bumper . It arrived REALLY late but I'm not complaining because this is the reliable HiLift mount you need. Keep in mind that the mounts are larger than most, but for good reason. I installed this on the front bumper of my 2008 Chevy Silverado. Since the Silverado's bumper isn't flat and the bolts are a little crooked after installation, I took a sledgehammer and straightened the bolts 1/2" that hold the real jack in place. You must drive the screws with wing nuts to avoid damaging the threads. Try not to touch the threads. You are solid. Jack doesn't move.
