I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong or what, I don't understand how to fill these things with enough water to make a real ice cream ball. If you had a tiny funnel to go through the holes you might be able to make it work, but outside of the box you can only fill the bottom half, which doesn't expand enough to form a ball. I don't really use this anymore as it's almost impossible to make real ice cream balls out of it.

I buy different ice molds and it's best to use silicone because the ice comes out very easily. Smaller balls can be made from this mold. than many other brands. They're larger than a regular ice cube, but still small enough to use through a straw in a glass of iced tea. If you're looking for giant whiskey balls, you might want to skip this one.
