First let me say this printer is awesome. I've had several 3D printers and the CR-10s is as good as a printer that costs 3-4 times the price. The open-source nature of the printer allows you to modify and update the printer as you wish, but it's definitely not required to achieve fantastic print quality. Second, HICTOP was fantastic. My printer had a loose screw that I thought was missing. I contacted HICTOP and asked for a replacement screw. A screw was easy to find at the hardware store, but…

. As you would expect the first few tries were horrible because the instructions weren't that great, they were ok but a few key steps were missing causing my first few prints to fail miserably. After figuring out what I was doing wrong and putting all the right plugs into the right sockets, I had to tighten the tiny screws that turn the long vertical Z-axis, which isn't mentioned anywhere in the instructions, but if you're mechanically inclined, and Your printer moves up…
