I don't know what the seller's intentions are, but I just needed a piece of leather to test the binding technique and I have small pieces of the wrong size left, so that's enough. I may be able to pull a small holster out of it, but just for show. Not bad for scrap metal I'd say.

leather conforms to description, looks good and appears to be of good quality. However, it was sent to me rolled up and wrapped quite tightly with a rubber band. So now I have to do a lot of extra work to smooth it out before I can use it. If it wasn't for that, it would have been 5 stars. One would think that a place that deals exclusively in leather would know best.

I needed a larger piece of thick leather so I could cut it into smaller pieces to make loops. If anyone doesn't know what it is, this is what people use to sharpen knives with links. The leather is very thick, just what I was looking for. In my photo you can see a flat piece of leather but when it came in the mail it curled up like a cigar and it took a while to put a book on it to straighten it out again. I would suggest flat packing them.
