Bass Bass and More Bass

When I first installed the amp, I couldn't "hear" any of the booms. Walked in upset only to fall into a deep sleep. There was an opinion that I could easily solve this problem. The audio jacks traced and swapped and suddenly did a BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMM.

Pros
  • Easy Install
Cons
  • So-so

Works great, doesn't overheat

I'm pretty smart, not sure what they mean by transparency and thickness in the reviews, I bought an amp, not a nightgown. The amp works great, it knocked my Infinity 1200S off the rails. I now have Punch in n and this amp sounds great. I upgraded from Lanzar, it was crap. This amp fits easily under the rear passenger seat of my 2013 F150 Supercab without overheating.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • The list will be long.

It comes out for no apparent reason

Bought and returned after just 30 days. I got another one thinking it was just a problem but the replacement unit failed even after 14 months. Can be switched on without sound. I had the same problem with the first one. This just took a little longer. It worked last time I drove, but not this morning. Abandoned for no apparent reason. Not worth the time and money. Please do not buy. Get something better.

Pros
  • Brings joy
Cons
  • Security

That was 3.5 years ago and it's still holding up. I love it!

I originally bought this amp in 2017, I had 2 12 inch Alpine Type S 2ohm subwoofers. This amp was amazing, never disappoints. Advice. This thing can increase the power, if you're like me trying to squeeze out 1000+ watts you'll need a capacitor or a second battery and put them in parallel. This fixed abrupt shutdowns and drops in audio quality, as well as horrific headlight flickering. I'm buying another one because I'm installing a new system in my wife's car.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Quality

Overrated but still capable.

Out of the box I immediately pricked up my ears - this amp doesn't feel like the old Hifonics at all. It's very, very light, feels empty and the whole body moves in your hands. I had an old Hifonics Brutus amp ten years ago and it was of a much better build quality and power rating, although not very clean. 1k (clamped to 910 watts with Fluke) even with excellent electrics - OFC 0 sensor, 25 Ah limitless lithium battery and 250 ampere alternator. However, it works and provides power to the…

For 150 you will not beat. The amp is awesome.

This is my second Hifonics 1200 Zues. This is an excellent amp. I don't trust the new model. I've had this model for 2 years now with no problems. So I got another one for our new car. Pictured are our old P3D4 Rockford subwoofers. Another photo shows a new box and P3D4 Rockford in a single port Q-Bomb package which I use this amp for. Let me tell you this Rockford is doing great! It sounds like two! I'm impressed. The box definitely adds quality. I'm saving up for a Rockford amp. A 1000 watt…

Pros
  • MILITARY QUALITY MILITARY QUALITY. The amplifier is constructed from a military-grade circuit board, making it robust enough to withstand regular use. It is protected against overload and short circuit, so you can use it with peace of mind.
Cons
  • not reliable

Well! Makes my Rockford 12 P3 SLAM! At 4 ohms

*Update later 2020* Bought new and received. Slide 2 12" P3 Rockford DVCs into 4 ohms and let me tell you, you don't even need to set them to 1 ohm! I thought I had to, but no way do these things clap! I want a 1000 watt Rockford Punch mono amp, but it's $400. I don't care as long as it's cool! Just hope it lasts longer than my last one. I think my last one got wet because my other truck had a leak. Anyway, if anyone is wondering if this will push your Rockford P3s, yes yes! And SLAM at 4 ohms!

Pros
  • RADIATOR TEMPERATURE CONTROL - Specially designed for music production, the UltraFi MOSFET helps limit distortion and effectively cools the amplifier by transferring it to an aluminum alloy heatsink.
Cons
  • Expensive

Time will tell, but so far so good. (updated review)

***Check out the updates at the end*** I ONLY fitted it to my car, I have an Ultimax 10" which I ran at 150 RMS. (4ch Rockford Fosgate and it wasn't problem with that the @4 ohm bridge) I wanted a subwoofer with its own amplifier so it could play louder (maybe 5dB louder because you need 10x the power for a 10dB boost) and I can add another 2 Add speakers so the other 2 channels are ready now I turned on the music (bass heavy songs to make sure it's at least as loud as the Rockford Fosgate) and

Pros
  • HIGH QUALITY OUTPUT CONNECTIONS. Connectors can affect sound quality, which is why we've engineered the best with nickel-plated, high-temperature shock-resistant connectors and hex-head screw terminals. Erosion resistant and withstands harsh operating conditions.
Cons
  • Slightly torn
