I wanted to mix this into the daily formula we give our birds. I couldn't because it's completely dominated by sunflower seeds, which we consider a delicacy. Very disappointed as we love the tanning mix and were hoping for another great product to complement it. It wasn't.

My 35 year old parrot loves this food. I kept him on a different diet and during the COVID quarantine it became difficult to find food for him. I started looking for something new and that was it. He likes the delicious smell when I open the bag. The mix is perfect and has all the basics he loves.

I was very disappointed with this product. In the photo of the bag there is a mixture of products, but it only contains seeds and sunflower seeds - a lot of seeds. No peanuts or other items as pictured. The worst thing is that I bought 4 packs! Now I have to buy another food to mix with so my poor parrot isn't just fed sunflower seeds.

I tried Higgins Vita Seed natural parrot food which was closer to what I paid at Volkman when I first started using it and now she finishes her feed daily.

The picture was misleading as this was a mix of LOADED Sunflower Seeds. I estimate that this bag was about 85-90% sunflower seeds. I had to order a 5lb pack from another brand to break down this awful concoction. I was tempted to throw it in the street for the wild birds. waste of money. Your bird will definitely eat them, but sunflower seeds are like feeding your kids cookies (and they're all greasy and devoid of nutrients). save your money There are higher quality blends.
