I bought it to redesign the furniture I make, the casters are wonderful! They leave a nice layer of pain without smearing or leaving a fun texture. Definitely a must for small projects!

My daughter taught me to just draw and sort all the tools and trays. Rollers are cheap and work great on large areas, even door panels. Good color quickly levels out with smoother, thinner rollers. Large areas like walls, in my case 1930's exterior wood, were easily stained with fluffier rollers that pick up more paint. Didn't appreciate the ease of cleaning because I throw them away!

I'm not a professional painter but I think we've all dealt with bad quality paint rollers that have fallen off and the like. I didn't have that with this set. It works as intended and I had no problems. No chipping or anything that could ruin the paint finish. As with any painting project, you need to prepare your space for painting, starting with a clean surface. I have used expensive and cheap brands. It's cheaper than the cheapest brand. The pen gets 5 stars for the square grip, the shell was cracked but the liners make it easy to remove dried paint and reuse - the rollers get 2 stars. The biggest downside was the plastic ring inside the reel tube that was supposed to attach it to the handle. Because the plastic ring was not installed correctly, the roller got stuck.
