Good quality line! in my review

I saw a few bad reviews and it compelled me to leave one based on my experience. I purchased a 25' roll to re-make brake lines that burst on a 2002 Land Cruiser. My biggest concern was having the lines look horrible after bending. These lines are COPPER COATED STEEL LINES and not nickel copper. These are great if you're trying to reproduce factory lines with the bends in the right places. The line is nice and rigid so it won't bend like crazy on you while you try to route your line through the…

Pros
  • Great Quality and last a long time
Cons
  • The 3/16 inch diameter of the brake line coil may make it more difficult to bend and maneuver, which can lead to installation issues and may affect the overall performance of the brake system

This almost feels like regular steel line. :(

I've used different brands of copper/steel lines and this by far has been the worse one I have ever worked with O_O. The price is fine. it will get the job done with a lot of effort. I even broke a flairing tool in the process of working with this. It seems to be a little thicker than usual. Rough time in the garage with this one.

Pros
  • works well, with correct tools used,
Cons
  • Good color but just as hard as steel line

Nice material good value

Like the flat coil and the amount of material for the price. Also the corrosion resistant coating and the ease of double flaring the ends. This line does not split during flaring like other cheap line from the auto parts store and makes a smooth beautiful double flareAlso much easier to work with than stainless steel likeA good choice for general brake line replacementBends by hand without kinking

Pros
  • fine
Cons
  • Not suitable for heavy-duty vehicles: The 25Ft 3/16 Inch Copper Steel Brake Line Coil by 4LIFETIMELINES may not be strong enough to handle the brake system of larger, heavy-duty vehicles

Easy to work with good for me

With this order, I found that copper is way easier to work with. I was able to make the flares with relative ease and run the tubing precisely where I needed to.

Pros
  • excellent product. As advertised. Easy to bend and nice finish look
Cons
  • May require additional fittings: Depending on the vehicle, additional fittings may be required to properly connect the brake line coil, which can add extra cost and installation time
