Unreliable Bolt, avoid at all costs

As a result of my tests, I determined that this bolt is simply not up to par. While it claims to be "non adjustable", it often slips or becomes loose, leading to a lot of frustration and wasted time.

High quality stainless steel. Matte finish. Good workmanship without sharp edges.

Not cheap but good quality gear that won't rust in a coastal environment. Purchased two (2) Reed Bolts for 2 Way Double Leaf Architectural Quality Rigid PVC Exterior Gates. High quality stainless steel. Matte finish. Good workmanship without sharp edges.

This is a 12 " screw, NOT an 18 "!

I purchased this item and received a 12" Reed Bolt. When I informed Revain that this was wrong, they sent me another 12" reed bolt. I then contacted Revain again and the customer service rep said all they could do was make another request to send another 12" bolt. I've given up trying to fix an error that seems to exist in the item's name.
