As a result, I had to remove a lot of heads from these screws. I found that pre-drilling each hole before screwing in helped. Luckily I ordered more than enough to get the job done.

These screws are difficult to drive into composite decking. The tip is not very sharp and it takes some strength and time to turn the screw. Once it grabs, everything is fine.

Ordered 2 boxes for 11$ for 5£! It must have been a pricing error as they are now $27. I've turned about 500 screws and it's decent, not great. These are the first composite screws I have ever used. They pass easily through the composite but tend to wobble, stop moving 30% of the time when they hit wood and it takes extra effort to get them to bite. The starter works well although it's a bit smaller than I'd like as I almost tore a couple dozen out of 500. They do a very good job of not picking
