Description of Hillman Group 43966 3 Inch Stainless

Clevis pins are used to secure a clevis to a load by slotting through the holes on the prongs of the clevis. Commonly used on hitches and to replace bolts or rivets at connection points that require quick assembly/disassembly. Ideal for industrial applications. Universal clevis pins feature holes down the side of the pin to accommodate cotter pins at any available hitch point. Parts feature a stainless steel finish for improved corrosion resistance. These single-hole clevis pins measure 1/4" wide x 3" long and feature a stainless steel finish. 4 pieces per retail package.

Great Quality Pins for Industrial and Scientific Use

I recently purchased some stainless steel pins for industrial and scientific use and I couldn`t be happier with my purchase! Based on my experience these pins are strong, durable, and high-quality. They have held up well under various conditions and have PROVEN to be a reliable choice for my projects. The only downside is that they can be a bit more expensive than other options on the market .However, I believe it's worth paying a little extra for a product that delivers such great results..

Pros
  • Strong, durable, high-quality
Cons
  • Can be a bit more expensive than other options

Functional but not shiny like most stainless steel hardware.

I had to replace the pins on my sailboat and they were the correct functional size. They were supposed to be stainless steel - and they probably are - but all the stainless steel parts I bought had a nice, shiny, smooth finish. These pens do not exist. Surfaces are uneven and appear unpolished. There were four in the pack and I think they'll do the job, but I'm a little disappointed with their looks. I assume the sample image provided by the seller is correct if you view the image greatly…

Pros
  • Fork pins are used to secure the fork to the load by cutting holes in the fork prongs
Cons
  • No work
