Subpar Nails Found in Assortment

This assortment of nails was a serious disappointment. The poor quality of these nails made it very difficult to get them into wood, leading to frustration and wasted time. The quantity of nails was decent, but what good is that when they don't work? This product falls short of expectations and leaves a lot to be desired. As a self-proclaimed expert in Tools and Home Improvement, I would not recommend these nails to anyone looking for quality fasteners.

Pros
  • High quantity pack of 20 pieces
Cons
  • Not suitable for larger projects that require more than 20 pieces

These are steel inserts. I used them for

This is a steel inlay. I used them to install a clothes rail in my caravan. If you have the right installation tools, they work amazingly. I would drill the holes a little smaller than specified to keep the insert from dangling in the hole. Here is a link to the specs of all sizes: [.]

Pros
  • Inspires confidence
Cons
  • Lots

These nuts work really well, but it takes a little experimentation.

These nuts worked really well, allowing me to reattach the kickstand to my pickup truck's footpegs. I had no idea how to reattach the stand until I found them. You will need to drill a .3/8" diameter hole to mount them, although they are designed for a #10 mounting screw. They hold up very well, but don't over-tighten the mounting screw or you'll snap it off. Check out YouTube to see how to tighten them in place and stretch the wings, it's a little trick. You don't need any special tools, but…

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • There are problems
