Hitachi HPP0004 High Pressure Fuel Review

Stopped working normally after a MONTH! I asked Audi to test it and it wasn't pumping high enough pressure and throwing out a code. It was 30 days later when I tried to return and couldn't, and the seller (oh, by the way, it was fake.) They didn't even give me a number to call the warranty. Now I'm stuck in the garbage. They always said it couldn't be the pump and wouldn't give the warranty number. Complete GARBAGE!

I rate this part 5 stars however it is not a direct replacement for the early 2.0t, the return line is not rubber it has a different fit etc so when ordering this part please use the fit from the old pump didn't cut the return line, a customer cut the line instead of moving the fitting, then that line was ripped off resulting in a large fuel leak and replacement lines were sold by the dealer and were only about $400.

I bought and installed this item 3 weeks ago. Overall it works. But on my A4 2005.5 it should contain an additional valve for the right side. 2005.5 didn't have this valve when I removed it. You cannot install a new pump until the correct valve has been installed. Or you keep releasing the fuel pressure. I had to remove the case and change places. Be extremely careful when doing this. This doesn't seem to solve my problem in my 2007 VW Passat with mechanical fuel pump. I still have the engine check enabled and the ODB computer says the problem is with the mechanical fuel pump. The car does not go more than 60 km. The mechanic says my car needs an original from the dealer. The car would not start without this part. Good for a factory reset if you have a card you want to upgrade to something with extra performance. I like my stock a3 2006. Arrived quickly. Please read before ordering or asking questions. ! Suitable for Audi 2.0T FSI and VW TFSI engines (approx. 2005.5 to 2009). Please do your own research, open the hood and see if it looks the same. An early pump has a banjo fitting. This pump is FULLY compatible with this pump. All you have to do is remove the fitting from the old pump and replace it with the fitting from the new pump.
