Increased Knitting Speed ​​

I heard about these 9 inch circles on several knitting podcasts and decided to try them for knitting socks. I usually knit socks in pairs on two circular needles, except when two socks fail. I tried these needles on a sock pattern I've already started where the two socks are mirror images and the stitch pattern moves around the sock. In two rounds, the stitches have to be shifted between the needles - not much fun, so these socks kind of languish. I'm making great progress with these socks now…

They may be small, but they are big in service!

I like these small needles because I don't like using 3 or more needles when knitting. For many years I've wondered why someone can't find shorter needles on a short cord for use with hats or small items instead of using a few straight ones. (I have the plastic ones, but I've found that they tend to bend just where you need them to be strong!) Finally someone made them! As they say, you have to get used to them! Easy to work with, strong, tiny miracle needles.

Well, I'm a knitter. I've never been able to knit successfully, except for scarves. Determined to learn, I found a sock pattern online and tried it with my big circular needles.
