Works well for me on computers and accessories

I use this to compensate for my Lenovo laptop not having many USB ports. It works as it should. I connect multiple high-speed USB devices and they work quickly and reliably. However, I have two complaints. First, the cable to connect to my laptop is very short and durable, so I can't use any other cable. I assume this guarantees a good, quality connection to the hub, but it's a pain. Secondly, this indicates the possibility of fast charging on one of the ports. When I'm connected to a Galaxyโ€ฆ

Recommend electronics

Works well I've been moving some data with each port and it seems to be handling the load well. I have USB sticks of different speeds, hard drives, so I think it was a good test. Moving the date from one to the other seems to work fine. I had a deadlock I think the computer went to sleep so an ID10T error lol. The cord needs more length for home use, but it will be a great length for travel. I'd like to see a few more USB-C ports.

  • Constant test results

The device breaks after the third connection

The device breaks after you connect more than 2 external drives. I've tested this with 1 USB-C connection and 2 USB-A > USB-C connections and on different ports on both the device and my computer as well as the power adapter connected and after this 3rd device my connected drives start up with no errors to disconnect and reconnect and the third drive does not even appear. If it's just my device's fault then so be it, but if they're all a problem then what good is a hub that just gives you an

Speeds go well with computer accessories and peripherals

Tests showed 999 MB/s with my NVMe case, which is about all you can get from a USB port (theoretical top speed would be 1250 MB/s , but good luck). It seems to work pretty well to connect multiple devices, although there was some strange behavior when I had 2 NVMe enclosures connected. It may have been an isolated case where I tried to clone an OS drive, but who knows. Overall it works as advertised. Update June 16, 2021: Random failures with drives attached forced me to re-rate this to 1 star.

One of the very few USB 3.1 Gen2 hubs

I've been looking for a multiport USB 3.1 GEN2 USB-C hub for my PC for a long time. This is one of the VERY few available. level speed. I realized that this is a travel accessory. I had to buy a USB extension cable to use with my desktop.

  • No automatic control

HDMI not working on USB hubs

I needed a USB-C to HDMI adapter for my laptop and thought this product would provide it, as well as additional ports including a USB-C pass-through port worked. USB 3 ports worked. I ended up buying a dedicated USB-C to HDMI adapter to use. I do not recommend this item.

  • Free for educational purposes

Variable performance

The performance of this hub varies. Connected to WD19TB docking station, Lenovo X1 Nano or Carbon. Sometimes it works great, other times it's slow/garbage. Also, none of my 2.4GHz mouse adapters or dongles will work in line with this hub. 10G is overkill for a mouse/dongle, but sometimes I run out of ports elsewhere. This return is a pity, I liked the form factor and the number of ports, but I need reliable hardware.
