Wool is the Cadillac or Lexus of sleep products

I slept on my son's futon. Its main purpose is a sofa, so it's not as soft as a bed. Until he converts his shed into an office, he has nowhere to put his futon, so I can replace it with an actual bed. I started with the fluffiest mattress pad I could find, but that didn't change much. This wool topper changed the world. I've slept on it for the last 4 nights and what's the difference. I had a wool mattress topper on my king bed in my last home before I retired and moved to be close to my kids…

The best sleep in a long time

I've finally arrived in mattress nirvana. It has cost several mattresses of all types and many frustrations since I last slept well. I recently bought a Xinus Ultima Comfort 6-inch memory foam mattress, thinking nothing that thin could sag. I wasn't thrilled with the included memory foam layer, but I knew from now on that I needed latex instead of sagging feathers. Well, the lack of sag didn't make up for the sweaty, stuck memory foam. So I turned it over - although it's not a folding mattress…

Saved my sore hips

This mattress topper literally saved my sore back or rather sore hips. To detoxify my sleeping environment, I bought a very expensive (and VERY heavy) organic wool wrap mattress from Royal Pedic online a few years ago. I also bought an organic quilted mattress topper that was advertised as padding. It's not like this. I love a firm mattress, but even with padding, this mattress is just HEAVY - so firm that I woke up with hip and shoulder pain every morning and often in the middle of the night…
