Accurate and Reliable Kitchen Thermometer

After I put it to the test i can confidently say this thermometer exceeded my expectations. It accurately measures temperatures and is reliable, making cooking and baking a breeze. Also, the stainless steel design is sleek and easy to clean. However, the dial can be a bit difficult to read at times. Overall, a great addition to any kitchen utensil collection..

Pros
  • Accurate temperature readings
Cons
  • Difficult to read in low light conditions

I'm trying to learn how to calibrate

It would be easier to write a review if I could learn how to calibrate and then use it. Looks great, the dial is clearly visible. You can probably see my question below: how to calibrate, as well as the manufacturer's answer. I was told to use the "ice water method". The problem is that the lowest temperature the thermometer shows is 130 F. Far from the 32 indicated by the manufacturer! Also, like other similar thermometers I've had, there isn't a small screw on the back that you would normally
