Home Master CFF2E 10 Replacement Activated Review

I just bought a Home Master jet with a new filter but my husband complained about the chlorine taste so I bought this new Elite filter hoping it would eliminate the chlorine taste which my husband complained about. I am happy with the taste of our water but my husband is not. He's started drinking the expensive spring water we used to buy again, which takes away my reason for buying that counter.

Well I really wanted to believe in this filter but I'm afraid it won't. I'm hoping to return the other one I bought as I bought two and thought it would be nice to have a backup but I have no plans to use it. We've had a countertop water filter for a long time and I couldn't find a filter that didn't leave a bad taste or remove fluoride until I finally found one. Sometimes this stuff ends pretty quickly; other times it takes forever. Because of this discrepancy, I no longer drink water that comes directly from the filter tower. This is an updated filter for another CFF25 model. I've used both but use this one for everyday use (I keep the cheaper CFF25 to use to fill water storage tanks during hurricane season). This filter works well and I often re-filter it when I fill up my Waterdrop Elfin jug to make sure it's very clean.
