Not for Synthrotek and Vector rails

Very nice quality. Flat on one side and partially convex on the other. I bought these for my modular synth setup, but these square nuts do not fit Pulp Logic's Synthrotek or Vector rails! They appear to be too wide, not too thick.

Small nuts but thicker than some

I bought these as spare parts for a Prusa i3 3D printer. In most places where square nuts are used on the Prusa, there are slots in the plastic parts where you need to insert the nut. These Honbay nuts are significantly thicker than the ones supplied by Prusa so they won't fit without enlarging the hole. This isn't the fault of Honbay nuts, which are perfectly thin nuts, but if your use imposes thickness restrictions, you may have problems with them. Edit: If you want thinner nuts, search for…

  • Very impressive

  • There are more interesting possibilities.

They will NOT fit the Moog 60HP Eurorack case

I'm a fan of Eurorack modular synths (yes, goodbye, one-time earnings). Thought this is what I need. not correct. I have a Moog 60HP case, basically a standard Euro rack case for Moog Mother 32/DFAM/Subharmonicon. The Deez-Nutz are too thick to fit in the Moog Case rails, making them unusable for me. Okay, maybe I can make a nice necklace or bracelet to remind myself to be better at finding small items to buy. TLDR; I wouldn't have bought them if I knew they wouldn't fit in the Moog case.

M3 with nylon insert but bulbous head prevents head from working on many

I bought these for use with Micro Beam extrusions and found that about half the nuts have a flare on the side that encloses the nylon retainer which is larger than a 5.5mm hex head, so I can't mount my socket on it. They work great when approached from the side with an open-end wrench. I would have returned them if I hadn't already poured them into my container with other M3 locknuts (which I've never had a problem with). Otherwise they are "serviceable", just annoying that I can't use my…
