I liked the price and even advised buying with LEDs. But the brackets don't hold the LED in place. I had to use epoxy to hold them in place.

Bulky LED holders at a great price. They contain the most common standard size LEDs. You can tell they're pretty cheaply made. Some of them bend easily, after that you won't be able to hold the LED. But if you put everything together carefully, the clean look can't be topped. Got them in my A-pillar in my car and worked well once you got the hang of it.

I've been using this type of bracket for LEDs for over 40 years. (Yes, they weren't designed last month.) All of the ones I've used before have a retaining ring that snaps onto the back to allow for different board thicknesses. Rings are missing from these and all similar elements. I found on Revain. For thin panels, the lack of a retaining ring makes them almost useless unless you get your hot glue gun out (dirty).

Minimalist in appearance, this LED holder looks great on the panel. The problem is that there is no way to securely attach the LED. There is no positive click or anything at all. Friction is all that keeps the LED inside. I ended up using lots of hot glue to prevent this. I have to throw this away as I've used it 5 times on different projects and they all needed hot glue. This is a bug as a product; however cheap.
