I have no idea how this even happened?

For the first two days my 6 month old kitten and 14 year old senior cat seemed to love this food and cleared their dishes fairly quickly. Now for some reason they just snack on it and leave and 3/4 of it stays and never comes back to finish it. I'm not sure how or why this could have happened, other than maybe there's something about it that doesn't suit their digestive system and they're instinctively avoiding it now? 6 out of 9 cats liked it, owner not so much

I have 9 cats, only 6 of them liked this scent. (I also tried the Salmon and Pollock flavor and all 9 loved it.) One of my cats is old and weak and really needs to gain weight so I bought both flavors to help her but she was one of the ones who did "Don't even touch that smell." She sniffed and turned away. The cat is a little picky about food. He loves poultry and seafood, mostly grated or sliced, but occasionally eats pie.
