CARBON SERIES FINS - These Dorsal Quad-Fin FCS Fin Box Compatible Surfboard Fins Set can fit into any surfboard, funboard, longboard or shortboard that uses FCS style fins. The (carbon/honeycomb) designed fins are the lightest and strongest and are available in medium size (similar to FCS M5's) and you can choose between eight colors (Blue Red White Green Yellow Black Orange and Green). You can rest assured that these hexcore based fins are tested and thrashed by our team to make sure they’ve go. FOILING - The Foiling of these surfboard fins are designed to produce increased laminar flow (Hold), and dramatically decrease turbulent flow (Drag). The Dorsal Hex Series Foils work on a wider range or angle of attack than that of the competitors which means you'll hold more speed through turns. Hex Series Foiling is designed by hydrodynamic scaling to insure the most speed possible to produce. Dorsal’s Hexcore fins are the most advanced and exciting fins on the market. Great fins! on my review.

I have 2 sets now and they are awesome at any price let alone at 1/3 the the price of most of the competition. These are not the typical crappy china knockoffs. They look and more importantly perform amazingly well. Stiff but with just enough flex. One caveat though they are thinner than normal fins and very sharp, I had my board roll after a failed air attempt and was cut across the forearms and shins, and I didnt hit them hard at all. I've since rounded them a little with sandpaper.

Becoming true to fit

Not a true fit into the FC2 boxes. Had to sand the thickness a little to fit snug. I have confidence that Dorsal will make better fins as long as we support.

I put my trust in these four little heroes...

As a novice surfer, I was hesitant to invest in top-of-the-line fins, but boy am I glad I did!
