Disappointing Performance for Industrial Drill Bits

My analysis of this product showed that it falls short of expectations. While the price point may be attractive, the quality of the materials used is subpar. The plastic construction makes for a flimsy and unreliable drill bit. The only positive aspect of these bits is their affordability. However, I would not recommend sacrificing quality for cost when it comes to industrial-grade tools.

Pros
  • Affordable
Cons
  • Cheap construction, unreliable performance

Blunt and brittle for twist drills

The title says it all. To drill out a board to build a guitar pedal, I dug through almost the entire container. Maybe 30 holes? Half of them were too blunt to even drill through the PCB, and the other half broke through a couple whole holes with very little pressure.

Pros
  • Robust construction
Cons
  • Not automatic

Can't even drill through soft plastic

Bought these things to drill pinholes in miniatures but even after 15 turns I don't have a hole but a dent. As if not even the tips of the bits were sharpened, but simply rubbed against the plastic, leaving stress circles along the outer perimeter of the hole. Instead of pure material whirlpools, you get earth made of sand. I checked a few drill bits to make sure I didn't get a defective one. All I got tired of was doing the same. Do not buy.

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • so far so good
