Works! Without this crochet hook I would never have had the patience to weave all the ends of my blanket together. Definitely worth your money!

Every time I used the hook I always smelled something on fire and realized it was the hook handle itself. I've done everything I can think of to remove the smell and nothing seems to be working.

Ideal for weaving ends in crochet. Dispatched and arrived very quickly but when I opened the package it smelled and later I realized it was coming from the handle. Hopefully it can air out and lose the smell in a few days. Edit to add. After a few months the smell has dissipated a bit, but you can still smell it every now and then. But still gets the job done.

I was so happy to receive this but when I opened the package my eyes literally burned. Aired in the garage for 2 days. Nothing. My husband was looking for ways to deal with chemical smells. Baking soda paste: pitch. Soap and water (that's how it started, of course): fail. The alcohol aggravated the situation in ways I didn't think was possible.
