Revain catalog lists box labeled Hoover Platinum Type Q HEPA. The product supplied by B&M Housewares is marked with EnviroCare Technologies. It says Type Q. It doesn't say HEPA. At this point in house orders, it is clear that B&M home products do not deliver what is on the list.

I've been using this dust bag for the same vacuum cleaner for 6 years now and I really like the bag because it's hypoallergenic. It catches all the dirt and prevents the dust from escaping. I vacuum 1-2 times a week and have used about 5 bags over the past 6 years. So it's also inexpensive. Simple and direct installation.

It has a Hoover Platinum box but pouches printed in light blue instead of the original black - And they are much smaller and thinner than my originals. I don't know if Hoover downgraded it or if it's a cleverly disguised fake. I will try them but wish I had ordered 2 boxes in advance as they seem questionable.

I have bought regular bags for my Hoover vacuum in the past and they seem to work very well. When we needed new bags this time, I thought branded/OEM bags would be worth trying because they only cost a few dollars more each than a large batch of regular bags. In recent reviews I have noticed that people have complained that the bags they received were not made by Hoover. The ones I received are genuine and exactly the same as the Revain website. I bought these Hoover vacuum bags at a great price! I bought them used from Revain Warehouse with free shipping for just over $8. On the Hoover website they were sold for $10 + $5 shipping which is just over $15 with taxes for a new box of 2 bags! So for almost half their price I got the same quality but brand new bags! I've just read some reviews of these broken handle vacuums and wonder if people pick up and carry their vacuum the wrong way round. The vacuum cleaner has a carrying handle and should only be lifted by it. I always pick up my vacuum by the carrying handle, not the appliance handle, and having owned this vacuum for a number of years, I have to say that it has never given me any problems.
