I like this device, but it was developed for very specific needs. It doesn't have a hose or modular attachments like a handheld vacuum or handheld vacuum, so you can't use it to reach corners, stairs, or upholstery. Pros: Impressive suction power, vacuuming is now a pleasure, light weight, well balanced, EZ service on all filters. A very large carpeted entertainment room, a carpeted hallway, a very wide and long staircase and most of the master bedroom (approximately 18 x 18 feet) were removed at full price. This is my second Hoover Linx. I had an older model and it just recently broke after 3 years of daily use. I find it durable for a vacuum of this size and price. What a great little vacuum cleaner. I bought my first Linx vacuum in 2013. I bought a branded model in May this year. Still have both. Both work great in a typical home environment. We use this vacuum cleaner in a 2100 sq. feet, with mostly wooden floors, and it gets the job done. This model seems to be a little quieter than the 2013 model, but works just as well. Working time?
