Hoover UH70200 Windtunnel Rewind Plus Vacuum Flat Belt - Genuine Replacement, Pack of 2 (# 562289001) Review

My original belt lasted a couple of years before it broke. It broke after 4 months. I can't believe these are genuine parts as advertised. I would advise you to look elsewhere. This is a piece of crqp!

Belts fit my vacuum but they say they are original but they are not. The item arrived in a bag with an item number but no vacuum cleaner. I used to have to buy replacement straps (my kids run over things that get stuck) and every time I bought authentic Hoover products, Hoover was on the bag. They worked but I've only been using them for a week so I can't comment on how long they last.

Belt was too large despite matching my Hoover model number listed as compatible. When I spoke to a Hoover rep, they also told me that this belt should fit, so it's not really my fault. I hope Hover fixes this problem one day as this is the second time this has happened to me with a vacuum of the same model. I ended up taking the whole vacuum cleaner thinking it was an accident.

I bought these hoping they would fix my brush not spinning problem but they didn't. The new ones are actually worse than the old ones. The motor/gear simply slides over the belt so the brush stops constantly at any height during cleaning. I finally got them to work by taking some sandpaper and notching/roughening the inside of the belt so it would stick to the gearing.

Poor quality product once you smell burnt rubber/strange smell and the sound changes they break very soon. both broke after a short time. The texture wasn't like my only original belt that came with a vacuum that lasted over a year. Do not use it on a white carpet because when the tear leaves a large amount of black residue which is horrible to remove if you can remove it. If anyone can recommend an alternative, I'm still Iso-Strap
