After 3 flares trying to make a 4th broke the top of the spindle (the area where the pin goes through the hole to tighten or loosen). be able to salvage by cutting off the broken end of the spindle and welding the stud to the tip. I bought a better designed one in Advanced.

Product appears to be a good deal for the money but buyers should beware. The "yoke knot", which has a spindle that presses down and makes a bell, is slanted. It must be machined so that it is at a 90 degree angle to the bar/bit into which it is pressed. So if you're lucky you might be able to make a few flares, but most will leak.
