Unreliable connections.

A lot of these plugs are hanging around with some 1/4" wires causing a bad connection and loss of signal. Now I'm trying to figure out which cables will work reliably with these plugs, and so far these are just square plugs like "damn it" that are commonly used on guitar patch cords. Some of my high quality professional 1/4" cables are not fixed in the jacks. It was worth a try, but buyers beware.

Splitter for Rocksmith

Perfect for connecting my guitar to Xbox for Rocksmith and my amp (Line 6 Spider IV). There was a hum, but all I had to do was turn the drive down on the amp and turn the volume up just a little. No more buzzing. Turn the guitar sound down to zero in Rocksmith and you can now play with zero audio latency. The music comes through the TV or surround sound system, and the guitar sound comes through the amplifier. Gorgeous renovation for just a few dollars.

  • Satisfied so far

2 amps at once! in Accessories and Accessories

I use this to connect my Line 6 G10 wireless system from my guitar to two amps and it works great! I have two completely different amps and sounds that now give me an almost stereo effect. If I want to use one amp, I just switch off the other, no problem. I was trying to figure out how to do it and thought it would help and it does. Keep in mind that I'm currently playing at a moderate volume in the bedroom, but I haven't noticed any real performance loss or sound difference. Try it for $5 or…

It works if you can live with a few issues.

I managed to split my guitar signal so that one signal goes to my guitar kit and the other signal goes to my computer to play Rocksmith 2014 Remastered. While this WORKS, there are a few issues. First, I get A LOT of hiss/noise when using this adapter and it's loud. Second, the signal level is significantly reduced on my guitar setup. I've found that when I'm just playing through the stompbox and amp, I really have to crank the volume up. by two cables connected to the connector. Especially if…

excellent 1/4 " cable splitter at a reasonable price

I had one many years ago when I was moving. Delivery on this order is very fast, next day. I use this when music is over playing an amp that doesn't have a line out (to connect to the main amp) so i connect this splitter to the input of my amp my guitar cable goes to one of the jacks of this splitter and the other to PA instrument is connected to both this amp and the main PA. Another way I DO NOT USE to achieve the same goal is to connect a splitter to my guitar, then a cable goes from the…

Unreliable, intermittent Jacks

Unreliable, intermittent. This may work, but the bushings don't securely grip the tip and make contact with both (they hold securely, but the spring tension on the tip isn't strong enough to make contact with all of the tips). If the tip has a small diameter area typical of modern plugs (e.g. a plug on top), firm contact will not be achieved. Almost corresponds to the picture so I think the design has changed and the one I got isn't quite the same as the ones released years ago.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • unreliable
