Our daughter used the lining under her new Thanksgiving tablecloth. Don't worry about spills or rings on the glass. Trivets or trivets were used for dishes straight from the oven. Very satisfied.

Protects our solid wood farmhouse table from multiple spills from grandchildren. Fits perfectly. If you want to protect good furniture, you need this! Can't comment on heat resistance as I always use pads under hot food.

This is not quite a table more like a vinyl tablecloth with a felt lining underneath. I bought this to put under my linen tablecloth but this product does not protect the table from items placed on it. I gave 3 stars because it's better than having nothing.

Saved my table. This is perfect for those who want to keep their wooden table. It also saves me from arguing with my husband because we put hot food on the table at dinner. I just put it under the tablecloth and I don't worry. Best of all, it's not bulky and doesn't get in the way of anything on the table.

Perfect size, perfect weight. The thickness was spot on - no bulkiness allowing plates/bowls etc to lay flat on the worktop. If you're looking for a heat resistant mat, it probably won't protect your wood countertop from really hot HOT food straight from the oven; However, I would NOT trust ANY soft tabletop to do this. It works great for us and I would buy it again.

Thin but for the price I thought it would be good. I also always put my napkins in the dryer for 8 minutes. Using low heat to remove wrinkles, this is the first thing that noticeably decreased. Now it's 68 x 52 inches! But not wrinkled. I'm sure the manufacturer warns against tumble drying, but there are creases/creases visible underneath my tablecloth, creating a decidedly uneven surface. I'm sure it wouldn't stand up to an iron.
