I recently had Invisalign on my teeth and needed a coffee straw to keep my teeth clean. These work great! I ended up cutting one for my coffee mug, but the longer ones are great for my travel mug. I like that they aren't round so they easily fit in the cup hole on the lid.

The shape and length of these straws are perfect. I wanted them to be able to be used with a Hydro Flask glass and they fit perfectly in the small drinking slot. However, I did notice an aftertaste of sorts when I drank it down, and it even made my water taste funny. I tried soaking the straw in soapy water and rinsing it thoroughly but it didn't seem to go away so unfortunately I sent them back. If they could somehow get rid of the taste I would try again.

The carrying case is not what I would call the sturdy thin plastic packaging that comes with it. I bought from the Amazon warehouse, so I didn't even get the second "lid" for the case upon delivery. They are great for hot drinks and liquid drinks. It has been found that the thinner/oval shape is not suitable for thick or frozen drinks. The fact that they are silicone makes cleaning easy and amazing that they don't break. And of course they can be reused!

There are excellent straws. I use mine in my Starbucks mug. They ate flatter than a regular straw and were shaped to fit the neck of a coffee cup. However, they are not suitable for all travel mugs. They don't work well in a HydraFlask screw top coffee mug. Your lid does not have a straight opening. They just don't fit well. The only odd thing is that I noticed that when she used a turquoise straw in her coffee, she changed the color to a brownish turquoise. I wash it everyday so not sure if it

I like the shape of the straws, they are flatter and nicer than regular straws. It also fits my new and old Rtic and Yeti caps which is good as I am accident prone. The flat shape is also great because you can wrap it up, put it in your bag and use it as a restaurant instead of throwing away plastic straws! I also have metal straws but they hurt my teeth.
