There are excellent straws. I use mine in my Starbucks mug. They ate flatter than a regular straw and were shaped to fit the neck of a coffee cup. However, they are not suitable for all travel mugs. They don't work well in a HydraFlask screw top coffee mug. Your lid does not have a straight opening. They just don't fit well. The only odd thing is that I noticed that when she used a turquoise straw in her coffee, she changed the color to a brownish turquoise. I wash it everyday so not sure if it soaks up coffee or what? Plus, these are great straws for hot liquids!
