Heavy mount, no mounting screws for the filter head!

Nice heavy mount. When you buy the corresponding filter, please pay attention! There are no screws to attach the filter to the filter bracket. You will need four 1-1/4" long, 5/16" diameter screws to attach the filter to the bracket. I used zinc plated hex head screws. I then found at Lowe's. Pros
  • 1 year trial
Cons
  • Available in white only

This mount will not work with other manufacturers filter housings. Sizes are shown in my pictures. FYI, I think the part is in metric units. The small holes appear to be 1 cm in diameter and the large holes appear to be 2 cm in diameter. There is a longer side and a shorter side. The metal is about .110" thick with white paint. It's (my best guess) 12 gauge sheet metal. I measured the thickness with a digital micrometer from a popular import tool store. I love clean water. old solder joints…

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Unbelievable price
