Not effective outdoors

Works mostly indoors or outdoors with no wind. But even at low speeds, distorted wind is easily audible on a Razre or on a bike.

Waterproof case broke after second use

My waterproof case broke after second use. The filters snap on very easily and have small straps that come with the kit. When it was good, it worked very well.

The clasp is not very secure.

The clip/latch retaining wire fell out of the case when I undid the latch. You can reinstall the cable but I'm not sure if it will be free again. The case feels thin compared to previous gopro cases I've had.

Hero8 Case On Body

Excellent case for the money. It fits snugly and securely around the Hero8. While the back of the case is solid and secure, I would have liked a different locking mechanism or a firmer "clasp". This is just my opinion. All in all a great case!

Thick but sloppy: camera & photo

Great thickness but almost all the cut outs are off center creating gaps between the GoPro and the lid. I didn't pay $10 for foam blocks, I paid for proper installation to reduce wind noise as much as possible. I first tried to contact the seller through their contact card information but their website and email are not active.

Nearly perfect. good for case

In terms of sound quality on my GoPro Hero 8 Black I use it amazingly. You can hear the bike perfectly, but there is almost no wind noise. The only problem is that some of the holes aren't perfect for the buttons, but I don't care. 9/10

Tested in strong winds during drone flights

2 pcs. packed up; Made from dense foam, shown here on Hero 8 with Media Mod. With the front mic functioning as a cannon mic. Bought after showing how well it worked at a very windy drone event in Florida. Cold shoe slots, bottom mounting pins and top button press. I couldn't hear my video, the one with Windslayer did a great job. Three of us went online and shopped right here and now. Can't beat the price and. it works without being bulky. Save your bet, this will do what you need it for.
