Great kit for gecko eggs!

This set is perfect! It was very easy to set up and so far has been able to keep the temperature and humidity fairly constant even in my apartment with terrible airflow. Lots of substrate and egg containers included! I should be set to at least 3 breeding seasons with my one gecko pair. I haven't had much luck with gecko eggs, but I keep getting mold on the eggs, which is usually due to too much moisture (my fault). It's difficult to get the right ratio of water to substrate (which I think is…

Pros
  • Digital Reptile Incubation Thermometer/Hygrometer
Cons
  • Interchangeable

This is NOT a gecko egg incubator

This is NOT a gecko egg incubator. First, the incubator is made of styrofoam and is very fragile. Second, this kit only has a couple of plastic containers and a ziploc bag filled with substrate, now it would be nice if it had instructions on how to hatch reptile eggs, but no. No instructions on how to use this incubator as advertised unless you bought one for chicken eggs. Finally, thirdly, this thing is very difficult to assemble and use. Despite all these problems, I tried using the broken…

Pros
  • Reptile breeding medium/substrate
Cons
  • Pedestal required

Used for incubating leopard gecko eggs while everything is fine

So far so good, used for incubating leopard gecko eggs. Much larger than expected, 1.5ft by 1.5ft. It comes with a small hole in the top corner for wires like the probe I use. I recommend getting a hydrometer/thermometer other than yours and a thermostat. I don't know how to work with the thermostat, I had to watch a YouTube video, but I'm still not very good at it. So unless you're an expert or good at it, I suggest just getting a thermostat. I put mine in one of the bowls where it was exactly

Pros
  • Robust thermostat with locking plate for precise temperature control
Cons
  • Not all fit
