Very Soft and Oily - Wood Conditioners, Waxes and Oils

This wax applies easily but is soft, offers minimal protection and is very oily. When applied to a wood surface moderately saturated with tung oil, the (mineral?) oil used to soften the wax does not absorb and leaves an oily residue even after 24 hours.

Didn't do anything as said will do

I would not recommend this laminate worktop and I have to re-sign the spot this article says it will do fine , obviously it is. didn't sell, it didn't even shine, I didn't do anything like they say, it's worth it, it didn't even shine like in one of the pictures, I would definitely not recommend this product.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Not the best

Excellent wax for wooden cutting boards

I love this wax for my cutting board and have a good wax although it lasts a long time. The smell is not strong, very weak, but there. (love the smell) I apply it generously and still can't smell it on my food if it comes off at all. I use the microfiber cloth that you get in these work packs so it doesn't put too much stress on the applicator. No regret.

  • Good product for the price

Cat ladies, rejoice

I'm a little off the mark, but the results are great. I rub it on a stainless steel litter box to keep the clumpy litter from sticking to the bottom. Works great. I find growing furniture and appliances to be one of life's greatest joys, so I'm sure I'll find some uses for it other than the litter box. A little goes a long way, so I expect this will take a while.

Pros
  • Free for educational purposes
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for seniors

Soft. Doesn't dry well or last long.

I bought this wax specifically for waxing ice cube molds. It worked great with the first and second batches of ice, but the efficiency quickly fell off. On the plus side, there was no aftertaste. A thicker layer didn't work because the wax never dried. I know few people will attempt to wax their ice cube trays, but I think the softness, lack of drying and lack of durability apply to most uses of this wax.

  • Everything is fine!

Easy to use makes wood look better but doesn't make my sink

I have an enamel cast iron kitchen sink - thought this product would help rejuvenate the finish. This made it look shiny but still looked old and worn, which to be honest it is. The product worked great on the old knife block though, brought back the color and looks a lot better. I was going to give 3.5 but 3 wasn't enough so 4**** No odor, easy to apply and rinse off. It will find many more uses.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No effect

Does the job! - Wood conditioners, waxes and oils

I have a black stone sink that has turned white in places over the years. I have tried so many different cleaning products but to no avail. I even searched the internet and read other stories. Obviously there is no permanent magic bullet for a black stone sink. I read about this wax from Howard Products and it makes my sink very nice. It's not permanent, but if you dry the sink, it will last longer. It's easy to use. This is the best I've found. It can be used on stone cabinets as well as other
