Very good PC! Best in Desktop

I needed a computer because mine was a bit dusty. This machine is very quiet, even quieter than my MacBook Air. However, setting up the machine wasn't that easy, I had to make a few tweaks to get everything working properly. IF YOU HAVE AN HP PRINTER If you have a new Hewlett Packard wireless printer, you can easily install it on your desktop using the HP Smart app. However, when printing, it prints via the Microsoft IPP class driver and this driver must be modified, otherwise there will be…

Seems like a real deal

I like that it's light, small and versatile. It loaded quickly the first time I used it, but all those PS bells and whistles and their settings pissed me off. They asked me to create an account just to get to the computer desktop, fine. I finally got to the desktop, tried installing antivirus software on the computer, and installed some Windows updates. The computer couldn't cope with the tasks I set it. I went into task manager and saw that cpu usage was at or near 100 percent and only 2…

HP was best at Towers

Need a new desktop computer for my husband. His needs are the simplest, no games or complicated programs. HP is a brand that I have avoided for many years due to serious issues in the past. BUT the price and features were tempting, so I decided to give it a try. Setup was pretty easy, and importing data from the old computer was much faster than it had been in the past. Adding (or possibly removing) unwanted programs failed, something corrupted the .dll file and I couldn't fix it. As a result…

Not Enough Back Panel Ports

Not Enough Back Panel Ports. So the front end looks dirty with all the wires sticking out. I would have preferred to connect everything from the back. I don't like DVD access. It is difficult to snap the disc sideways. One of my hard drives was making an awful noise while spinning. Otherwise, it's fast and the mouse is responsive. The mouse cable was shorter than my old one. So I had to move everything closer together.

  • Computer and Accessories
Cons
  • Poorly Designed
