Description of Hromee Manifold Aluminum Compressor Portable

Air Tank Replacement Manifold is a replacement brass manifold with 125-150PSI(±5%) pop-off air valve for tanks. The air tank end is 1/2" MNPT. The gauge port is 1/8" FNPT. The outlet (hose) port is 1/4" FNPT. The red knob connected to this valve allows you to easily turn on/off the air flow to the air hose. And prevent air from leaking out of the tank when it's not in use. The material aluminum is much durable than the plastic one and guarantee long time use. Except the aluminum knob, the whole body is brass construction and the spring is stainless steel. Both of them are corrosion resistant. A schrader tire fill valve on the side for filling the air bubble. The safety relief valve ring is on the side and with manual override. We also equip a black cap to block the dust. Hromee air tank manifold holds pressure inside air carry tank steady. Keeps carry tank working at optimal performance, fits for most portable carry air tank.

Relief valve too sensitive

I bought this manifold for the shut off function as I have an old tank with no air shut off and the tank is leaking down. This reset is so sensitive that it's easy to activate and will disable the shutdown feature if you run out of air. Not 130 psi by any means, more like 110 psi.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Lots of stuff

Check for leaks especially the valve core

This was just what I needed for my portable air tank. I thought I was ready to go after I filled it up the next day, I went to use it and was empty, I didn't realize the valve core on the filter port was useless, replaced it and there have been no problems since.

Pros
  • GOLS certified
Cons
  • Some small items

You will need teflon tape on all threads.

It seems China can't make an air tool that doesn't leak. You just have to install it on the tank and see where it leaks. Teflon tape and it's good. Once installed, it holds air perfectly. The injector does not rotate, so you have awkward filling positions. All in all worth the money considering how much a completely new tank costs.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons
  • nothing

Great replacement in power tool parts and accessories

I finally got to the leaking air cylinder and found the manifold was leaking so a replacement was needed. After a long search I decided on this collector because of the design and the price. Actually, it was a simple replacement. I think the whole job took about 15 minutes and now there is air in the tank. Appears to be well made and will last for many years.

  • good thing
Cons

Note that your meter may NOT fit this manifold.

likes the metal filling handle very much; much better than the plastic type so i bought this one. However, the gauge port size in the diagram was not clear. As a result, my pressure gauge from the old manifold does not fit the new one. I've tried to find a matching brass gear but so far to no avail. If I end up having to buy a new gauge, it would be better to buy the entire kit with new hose, gauge, etc. than this manifold. Clearer charts and port sizes would be EXTREMELY helpful!

Pros
  • handy thing
Cons
  • poorly thought out

Beautiful distributor. Had to replace my old one which had a cracked plastic on/off wheel. So this one is good because it has an aluminum wheel. Worked perfectly, fits perfectly. The only problem is that the relief valve fires at 125psi and even opens to about 115psi if you even lightly touch the valve or breathe in, which you always do because when you turn the on/off wheel, it will Your finger will do it just behind the valve. So I just put a thick rubber band over the valve and now it works…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • All right
