. Assembly was easy (see instruction image). It should be noted that the foam pad is actually an extremely thin sheet of foam. Once applied it stays on forever so please take the time to level it out. The plates are well made and perform as expected and distribute the weight of the monitor stand well. The biggest issue I have with this accessory is the adhesive on the sticker foam sheet. If you look at the close-up photo, you can see it on the outside of the styrofoam sheet. He's pretty sticky.
