🥒 HUDEF Pickleball Paddle: Lightweight Composite Fiber Wide Face Paddle with Honeycomb Core and Comfort Grip Review

Given the promotional images HUDEF uses to promote their products I expected this racket to have some value. Unfortunately the paddle didn't work well and fell apart a few months after purchase. I have found the cheaper unbranded paddles to be much more durable and better balanced.

Very nice paddle. Gladly used. I look forward to using it often. Ps - if it had a wrist strap I would give it 5 stars. Update after 2 months of use - the handle broke. When I was done, I hit the ground with the paddle, but I didn't expect the handle to break. Have now switched to another brand.

I loved this paddle for a little over 2 months until I swung it over the top and it just fell apart. It broke at the top of the handle. I didn't even hit the ball. Maybe my swing was so fast that the rudder broke? Maybe the design is too bright? I enjoyed control and power until that happened. It's a shame. I can not say that this money was worth two months of commitment.

I have friends who play pickleball very seriously and bought a bat for over $200. You can definitely tell the difference between a $10 paddle and a $100 paddle. However, as a casual beginner, I don't want to shell out a lot of money for my own racket. This is a very good price for what you get: - Durable - Lightweight - High quality The only downside is that the handle feels a bit slippery and I'm afraid it might slip off when my hands get too sweaty. It doesn't matter much.

I am just starting to learn pickleball and bought a cheap wooden bat first which was a big mistake. It was too hard and my joints really hurt. My friend suggested I get a graphite spatula and it's much lighter (no joint pain) and easier for me to use. I bought this paddle to have another paddle. The price was good and it was a few grams heavier than my other paddle and I wanted to try a slightly heavier paddle. But this racquet (at least the one I have) only has one spot where you have to hit the ball for it to really go and hit reliably. Hit the ball anywhere else on the racquet and it just dies. The Hudef V1.2 paddle we got from Revain is a really good paddle and fantastic value for money. The first thing that struck me was its weight. It is advertised at 7-8 oz and both of ours are on the lower end of the range. So you get light weight, easy manoeuvrability, great handling and less weight for more performance.
