What a great little device for the price. Why can't I penalize similar type of devices that won't break the bank for my plane?

It's too tight, it's a struggle to put it on so I'm not sure how useful it is to take the case off and put it back on every day. I hope it will stretch as the temperature gets warmer.

I have two now and both work as intended. A little tight at first but eventually you just slip and stay. The boat is in a garage, so I cannot speak about the influence of the sun. One is about a year old.

Just like a new pair of shoes, they need to be broken in. I hope that applies to this case as well. I have a more durable rubber case for my Helix 7 that I use in the summer. Unfortunately, the Humminbird Ice Fishing Case does not provide space to use it. That's why I bought this protective case. Looks nice. quality coverage!

So far they have held up well (I have them on two Helix units) but my neighbor has the same units and he found one hard rubber screen cover that is MUCH better! They are sufficient, but difficult to pull on the device and absorb water. I would definitely use hard rubber if I were to rebuild.
