Works in various combos with dash mount, this is a good product and would have given 5 stars but although some of the specs in the kit suggested foam padding I called Hummingbird to make sure the kit actually comes with a gasket, this was not the case. The 398ci SI I used it on sits securely on the dash and I will be buying this product again soon to replace my other fish finder.
