🌬️ Enhance Your Space with the Hunter Sea Wind 48" Indoor/Outdoor Ceiling Fan in Black Review

My patio canopy consists of 6 4" x 12" panels with 3 x 2" fan arms in the middle. A fan with shorter blades fits well in the panel so as not to disturb lamps installed in other panels. It looks like it was made to order for the patio. I bought 3 of them. Balanced without using a balancing kit, no noise I also leaked - for low power consumption - I can put 3 on a Z-Wave switch.

Moves a lot of air for such a small fan. The blades are plastic, which isn't really a problem; I've just never seen a ceiling fan that doesn't have wood or wood fiber blades. I will say I had trouble getting the Hunter brand remote (model #99371) to work with it. I tried two brand new remotes and it never turned on, even though I checked the wiring diagrams three times and monitored the power supply. up to the chain switch. Maybe it's just some weird incompatibility.

Installed on our screened in porch. I had trouble finding a built-in wet room fan in the right color. The old fan did not appear to be wet and its blades sagged and eventually failed completely. We replaced one of the two Hunter Sea Wind 48 inch patio fans with a new Sea Wind model as the old fan bearings had failed and could not be repaired. The new fan is quieter, better designed (according to my husband) and pretty much matches the other ceiling fan. The slim fan motor housing you see in the photos is not what you get. I ordered two of these for my porch mainly because they looked attractive.
