My boyfriend doesn't like the size of this hat even though I bought his typical size. We almost got him back but he really likes wearing hats, I think it's like a protective blanket for him. I may have it in their description entirely overlooked, but this is a flexible fit design. So there are some benefits if your head size is within the range. I wish these companies would use a standard measurement, but they don't. If it helps, I actually googled the difference in the size chart and my 7 1/4 head sits right in the middle of this cap's S/M fit. Construction/Design: ExcFit: As expected. Doesn't fit like a trucker hat,*** "a few big heads" usually look for XL/XX, be careful, it's very tight. It will likely stretch with constant wear.
