Reliable and fit well

They have been on the truck for about 3 months now and are holding up well. Assembly was easy and they fit the truck perfectly. Molded part in the shape of the rear wing in height. They feel tough but not brittle. Winter will be a real test when the ice covers them, but so far they're great.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Volume

Approximately twenty minutes after impact

They fit in my truck like gloves, but why put gloves on the truck? the truck even has a great fit, but I just don't know how else you could attach it to the vehicle without doing that. I sat and thought for a good twenty minutes. Actually, this was the entire installation time.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Unsafe

Perfect Fit & Exterior Accessories

. They look GREAT on my Colorado. Easy Installation - They are designed to keep the original small stone fences. Adequate thickness and width (standard size tires) should provide adequate protection from winter "slush" for many years. I was a little apprehensive about drilling a hole in each fender at 285 miles on the odometer, but I put some sealant on each extra bolt which should prevent any possible iron oxide ingress.

Pros
  • Free for Educational Purposes
Cons
  • Not Bad, But...

Don't be afraid to poke a hole! This product is GREAT and outperforms other products. The fit is perfect, with 3 original holes and a new hole for the tip. (IMHO, you might not even need the top opening. They're heavier than the other fenders shown here, and they get bigger. Great product, good value! Installed on a 2017 SLE Canyon.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • Functionality

Harder to install than I thought

Although they are made for my car (and fit perfectly) you will need to drill holes to attach the cover. Each valve is aligned with two stock bolts along the base of the wheel arch, but needs a third higher up to stabilize it. Each of those third holes had to be drilled in such a small space that it was actually necessary to remove the tire. So you can of course install them at home, but it's not as easy as I expected.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Quick start guide

Looks good, not easy to install

I really wanted to fit real Chevrolet fenders on my 2016 Chev Colorado but the price is too high for a 4 piece set. These Husky fenders had good reviews and a much cheaper price. The assembly of the front fenders went fairly smoothly. There were more problems with the rear flaps. The center screw hole on the flaps seemed too low. I had to drill and cut it about 1/8 - almost 1/4 inch higher to get it right. The remaining holes on the valves were spot on. No problem. Anyway, we just need someโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • unreliable

Not expected, so-so

Not bad, but not great either. Poor design on the 2019 GMC Canyon SLE. The tailgates were fine, although drilling into the wing edge wasn't a good idea. NOW I have a place for RUST to grow. Second, the front valves don't even come close. In fact, the top screw mount is too big and may damage the thin wing edge. I had to buy 3M glue. This might be the best product. Let's see how the mud flaps behave. PS: The side of the tire should have a smooth surface and smooth glue around the edge to keepโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Easy to use
Cons
  • Frequency

Fenders that won't stop spattering

These fenders are well made and fit my 2018 Canyon well. I bought them to prevent the splashing water that sometimes gets into the parking lot from the sprinkler system. Today I drove to Lowes and drove a small amount of water from the garden center that spilled into the parking lot and the result was the same as before the fenders were installed. As you can see from the photos the fenders are almost clean but the footpegs and sides of the truck are not. It looks like the wheels are throwingโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Quality construction
Cons
  • Requires an outlet
